Rose Lin Foundation and Muslim Traders Association of Novaliches Forge Partnership to Empower Muslim Youth Through Education

The Rose Lin Foundation and the Muslim Traders Association of Novaliches, Quezon City have formalized their partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) aimed at supporting the education and formation of Muslim youth in the community.

Through this collaboration, the Rose Lin Foundation commits to providing learning materials and educational resources to assist ustadh teachers—Muslim educators who play a vital role in teaching faith, discipline, and the Arabic language to young learners.

The initiative seeks to strengthen the foundation of Islamic education in Novaliches by equipping teachers with the tools they need to enhance the quality of instruction and sustain meaningful learning among Muslim students. The Muslim Traders Association will oversee the implementation of these learning programs and ensure that the assistance directly benefits the local Muslim youth.

“Education must go beyond academics—it should shape character and strengthen faith,” said Carlos John Villegas, Executive Director of the Rose Lin Foundation. “This partnership allows us to work closely with our Muslim brothers and sisters to ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to society while remaining deeply connected to their values and traditions.”

Leaders of the Muslim Traders Association of Novaliches expressed their appreciation for the collaboration, noting that the program will help preserve cultural identity and provide young Muslims with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in modern society.

The MOA signing marks a significant milestone in fostering unity between faith-based and civic organizations in Quezon City. It reflects a shared vision of promoting education that builds both intellect and integrity, creating pathways for the next generation to lead with wisdom, compassion, and respect for diversity.

Through this partnership, the Rose Lin Foundation and the Muslim Traders Association reaffirm their belief that education—grounded in values, culture, and community—remains one of the most powerful tools for lasting progress and peace.
