QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES — To help bring vital government health benefits closer to local families, the Rose Lin Foundation served as a key community facilitator during the recent outreach for the PhilHealth YAKAP Program in Barangay Pasong Putik Proper.
Recognizing the importance of accessible primary care, the foundation extended full organizational and community mobilization support to ensure residents could seamlessly navigate and receive services under the national health initiative.
Bridging Healthcare Providers and the Community
The activity was spearheaded by HealthyLink, an accredited PhilHealth YAKAP healthcare provider. To maximize community engagement, the Rose Lin Foundation worked alongside local organizations CSG and Bukad-Palad NGO to assist in ground mobilization, venue management, and beneficiary assistance.
By helping connect residents with an accredited provider, the participating organizations ensured that the community could fully utilize available primary care services, diagnostic consultations, and medicine assistance under existing PhilHealth coverage.
Structured Two-Phase Outreach
- To ensure an orderly flow and efficient service delivery, the community outreach in Barangay Pasong Putik Proper was rolled out in two distinct phases:
- Pre-Registration Phase: Community volunteers assisted residents with account verification, profile completion, and initial registration with HealthyLink as their designated provider.
